Africa Wealth Institute Calls for Investment in Student Teachers’ Well-Being

By Jotham Kayombo Likomeno,

The Africa Wealth Institute has called for increased investment in the well-being of student teachers as part of efforts to build a healthy and productive society.

Speaking to Mafken News, Africa Wealth Institute Deputy Director, Eugene Muleya, said nurturing resilient mindsets among student teachers is critical, as their development directly shapes a resilient and progressive nation.

Dr. Muleya emphasized that teacher training must go beyond academic instruction, stressing the need to develop individuals who are mentally strong, emotionally intelligent, and capable of making responsible life decisions.

Meanwhile, Catholic priest Nicolas Mubanga has urged young professionals to uphold traditional values in their respective fields, where service to humanity takes precedence over financial gain.

Father Mubanga noted that professionalism should be driven by passion, integrity, and empathy, rather than solely by monetary rewards.
