Mufulira Mayor Kamanga Dedicates Award to Residents, Pledges Sustainable Development

Mufulira Mayor Tanaeli Kamanga has dedicated an award to the people of Mufulira, expressing gratitude for the support he has received over the past five years.
Speaking to Mafken News, Mr. Kamanga said he was deeply honoured to receive compliments and a recognition plaque from Zambia Army Commander, Lieutenant General Geoffrey C. Zyeele, during his visit to Mufulira at the Officers’ Mess on Monday.
He noted that the gesture symbolizes the strong partnership between the Mufulira Municipal Council and the Zambia Defense Force.
Mr. Kamanga highlighted that leadership is a mandate from the people, requiring focus, objectivity, and integrity.
He added that his goal has always been to serve uprightly so that, after five years, residents can confidently say his leadership made a positive difference.
He further emphasized his commitment to sustainable development, particularly in industrial growth, stressing that Mufulira will never be the same as efforts are directed towards creating a lasting impact for future generations.
