VETERINARY ASSOCIATION OF ZAMBIA PRESIDENT RESIGNS TO PURSUE POLITICAL AMBITIONS

The Veterinary Association of Zambia (VAZ) has announced that its President, Dr. Malcolm Chiyoba, has formally resigned from his position to pursue mainstream political ambitions.

In line with the Association’s constitution, the VAZ Executive Committee has elected Dr. Eugene Bwalya as Interim President to serve until the current term concludes.

Dr. Bwalya, a respected academician and researcher at the University of Zambia, is widely recognized for his contributions to veterinary science and animal health.

The Association expressed gratitude to Dr. Chiyoba for his dedicated service and leadership, wishing him success in his new political journey.

VAZ emphasized that it remains steadfast in upholding professional standards and supporting its members, reaffirming its mission to advance veterinary practice and animal welfare in Zambia.
