CAAC Raises Concern Over Lack of Clear Anti-Corruption Roadmaps
By Respite Kaoma,

The Community Action Against Corruption has expressed concern over the lack of clear plans by both the government and opposition political parties to effectively tackle corruption in the country.
In a statement made available to Mafken News, CAAC Chief Executive Officer Brightone Tembo said the future of the fight against corruption remains uncertain due to the absence of comprehensive and actionable roadmaps.
Mr. Tembo noted that many political parties often promise to fight corruption while in opposition, but end up being associated with corruption scandals once they assume power.
He has since urged opposition political parties to present detailed anti-corruption blueprints, stressing that a genuine fight against corruption requires strong institutions and systems, not just political will.
