The opposition Socialist Party Copperbelt Provincial Chairperson, Dr. Brian Chirambo, has accused the UPND government of deliberately destabilizing opposition efforts to mobilize supporters.
Speaking in an interview with Mafken news, Dr. Chirambo stated that the party has been denied permission to hold rallies over thirty times, citing a pattern of suppression of dissenting voices.
Despite the setbacks, Dr. Chirambo said the opposition alliance, comprising the Socialist Party and the People’s Pact, is forging ahead with their mobilization drive.
He urged supporters to stay vigilant and follow their pages for updates on their mobilization drive, since the UPND is trying so hard to silence the voices of the opposition.
