President Hichilema Commends Catholic Church’s Role in Strengthening Zambia’s Education Sector

President Hakainde Hichilema has commended the Catholic Church for its longstanding contribution to Zambia’s education sector and national development.
Speaking during Mass at St. Joseph of Cupertino Catholic Parish in Chifubu, Ndola District, President Hichilema described the Church as a key partner to Government in the provision of quality education and essential social services to the Zambian people.
The President поted the importance of continued collaboration between the Church and the State, noting that strong partnerships are critical to effective service delivery and national progress.
Meanwhile, President Hichilema praised the Chifubu Parish for establishing a parish farm, describing the initiative as a model of productivity and self-reliance.
He urged the Church to sustain such agricultural projects, saying they are vital in contributing to the national food basket and reducing poverty levels across communities.
