Government Launches 2026 Luapula Investment Forum to Unlock Province’s Economic Potential

Government has officially launched the 2026 Luapula Investment Forum and Exposition, a strategic initiative aimed at showcasing the vast, untapped economic potential of Luapula Province.
The event was unveiled by the Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry, Chipoka Mulenga, who called on both local and international investors to explore the province’s diverse investment opportunities.
Mr. Mulenga emphasized that Zambia is open for business, highlighting Luapula’s unique endowment of fertile agricultural land, extensive water bodies, and rich mineral resources.
He further reaffirmed Government’s commitment to creating a conducive business environment through streamlined regulatory processes and direct support to enterprises and investors.
The Expo is scheduled to take place from April 20 to 24, 2026, at Kaole Stadium in Mansa, under the theme:
“Unlocking Luapula’s Potential: Investment Opportunities for Sustainable Economic Growth.”
