Kang’ombe Pushes for Pipe Replacement as Kamfinsa Water Project Nears Completion

Kamfinsa Member of Parliament Christopher Kang’ombe has urged the government to release funds to replace old pipes in several areas of the Constituency, as a major water distribution project nears completion.
Speaking during the tour, Mr. Kang’ombe said the water distribution project is on track to be completed by May 25, 2026, with works currently standing at 93% completion.
Mr. Kang’ombe said the project, which includes an extra ground tank and elevated tank, both 100% complete, is expected to improve water supply hours to several areas, including Ndeke, Natwange, Ndeke Village, Presidential, Changa Changa, and Mulenga Compound.
The project is being undertaken by Nkana Water and Sanitation.
