President Hakainde Hichilema has emphasised the importance of the Continental Energy and Infrastructure Investment Forum (CEIIF) as a platform for practical project implementation.
Speaking at CEIIF Zambia 2026 in Lusaka, he highlighted Africa’s need to accurately project its capabilities globally and reaffirmed Zambia’s commitment to energy sector reforms.
The President noted that inadequate energy supply constraints economic growth, a challenge worsened by drought conditions.
Mr. Hichilema reiterated Zambia’s commitment to reliable and affordable energy supply.
