The Kalulushi Pastors’ Fellowship has called on congregants to reject mob justice and uphold the rule of law.
Speaking in an interview with Mafken News, Fellowship Publicity Secretary Reverend Chishiba Mutepuka urged the clergy to sensitize their members against taking the law into their own hands.
Rev. Mutepuka said mob justice goes against Christian teachings, noting that judgment is reserved for God and the judicial system.
He emphasized that Christians are called to love and forgive rather than retaliate.
The clergy have since reiterated the importance of respecting the rule of law and allowing justice to take its course.
