Commerce, Trade and Industry Minister – Chipoka Mulenga

Commerce, Trade and Industry Minister Chipoka Mulenga has called on every well-meaning Zambian to actively participate in the country’s economic development.

Speaking to Mafken News, Mr. Mulenga highlighted that Zambia is taking bold steps to accelerate growth by strengthening collaboration between government and the private sector.

He noted that President Hakainde Hichilema has established a Public-Private Dialogue Forum (PPDF) and a dedicated Presidential Delivery Unit (PDU) to ensure policies translate into tangible progress for citizens and businesses.

The Minister emphasized that while key policies supporting trade, investment, and industrial development are already in place, the next phase requires active engagement from citizens, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders to maximize their impact.

He added that fostering inclusive dialogue and accountability will help unlock new opportunities for growth, job creation, and regional competitiveness.

Mr. Mulenga said the initiative reflects a broader vision of building a resilient economy where government and citizens work hand in hand to achieve sustainable development.
