By Morgan Chomba,

Chambishi Central Ward Councilor – Chepesani Msoni

The Councilor for Chambishi Central Ward in Kalulushi Constituency, Chepesani Msoni, says the approved 2026 projects under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) will bring significant social and economic benefits to the community.

Among the approved initiatives are the procurement of 587 double-seater school desks and the construction and delivery of equipment packs for six maternity annexes. The health facilities set to benefit include Chemebe Clinic, Chibote Clinic, Musakashi Clinic, Chembe North Clinic, Musenge Clinic, and Twaiteka Clinic.

Speaking in a telephone interview with Mafken News, Mr. Msoni explained that the construction and equipping of maternity annexes will greatly reduce the challenges faced by residents who often struggle to transport expectant mothers to distant health facilities.

He further called on relevant authorities to quickly advertise the projects to promote transparency and allow local contractors to participate in the development process.

Mr. Msoni commended Government for approving the initiatives, noting that the projects are expected to significantly improve the livelihoods and well-being of people in Chambishi Central Ward.
