CF National Chairlady Urges Women to Take Active Role in 2026 General Elections

Citizens First National Chairlady, Faith Munthali, has called on women and young people across the country to actively participate in the upcoming general elections scheduled for August 13, 2026.
Ms. Munthali said meaningful national development can only be achieved when women and the youth are fully involved in decision-making processes through voting and contesting for leadership positions.
Speaking in an interview, she emphasized that women and young people constitute a significant proportion of the population and therefore possess the power to shape the country’s future.
She encouraged them not only to register and vote but also to consider contesting for various elective positions, adding that inclusive leadership ensures diverse voices are represented in governance structures and national development processes.
