Access Bank Zambia Reaffirms Commitment to Africa’s Mining Sector at 2026 Mining Indaba

Access Bank Zambia says it is committed to advancing Africa’s mining sector, as the bank participates in the 2026 Investing in African Mining Indaba in Cape Town.
Managing Director Dr. Iheanyi Nwogu said the event brings together global investors and African opportunities, providing a platform for strategic collaborations that support sustainable and responsible mining.
He added that Access Bank leverages its broad African network to provide customised financial services that help mining companies grow, implement sustainable practices, and benefit local communities.
In a statement, Access Bank will also showcase its new Rehabilitation Finance product, aimed at helping mining companies meet environmental, social, and governance obligations while ensuring long-term operational resilience.
The Mining Indaba, running from 9th to 12th February, will gather over 10,500 delegates, including investors, mining leaders, and government representatives from across Africa.
