Three hectares of land have been earmarked for the solar plant, with authorities set to relocate farmers to make way for development.

In an interview, Local resident, Nzila Mvula says the project will help address energy crises in the area, once completed.

She also urged farmers to cooperate with authorities during relocation.

The solar plant is expected to boost energy generation and contribute to the national grid through ZESCO.
