The Treasury has released K760 million to public and grant-aided schools across the country to support the Free Education Policy for Term One of 2026.
In a statement to Mafken News, Ministry of Education Principle Public Relations Officer Clive Kalunga says the funds will start reaching schools from today, dismissing reports of delays.
Mr. Kalunga says the ministry has assured the public that the money will be strictly monitored to ensure transparency and effective use, with priority given to classrooms, teaching materials and support for learners in disadvantaged communities.
