CHADIZA DC PRAISES PLAN INTERNATIONAL’S ROLE IN COMBATING TEEN PREGNANCIES AND CHILD LABOUR

Chadiza District Commissioner Malan Zimba has commended Plan International for its efforts in tackling teenage pregnancies and child labour in the district.
Mr. Zimba said the program is vital as it unites local leaders and stakeholders to confront these challenges, which remain prevalent in Chadiza.
He revealed that the district plans to establish a youth recreation Centre using the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) and that the Centre will feature amenities such as pool tables, basketball courts, and a soccer field.
Mr. Zimba emphasized that this initiative will empower children to build meaningful lives and grow into responsible citizens.
He further stressed the importance of collaboration between government, donors, and community leaders in creating a brighter future for Chadiza’s children, enabling them to thrive and reach their full potential.
