Copperbelt Province Commanding Officer, Mwala Yuyi, has cautioned politicians against intimidating police officers, urging them to respect the integrity of the police service.
In an interview with Mafken News, Mr. Yuyi stressed that the police are mandated to maintain law and order and safeguard all citizens “without fear or favour.”
He emphasized that no individual is above the law and that officers must be allowed to discharge their duties free from interference or threats.
Mr. Yuyi further warned that any acts of intimidation directed at police officers will be met with firm action and addressed in accordance with the law.
