Dr. Mukwenya Ng’andu Calls for Consultative Leadership to Improve Constituency Project Delivery
By Rogan Labika
Kantanshi Constituency aspiring candidate Dr. Mukwenya Ng’andu has called on Members of Parliament (MPs) to embrace consultative leadership in order to ensure the successful implementation of government projects.
Dr. Ng’andu said many constituency projects fail to materialize due to a lack of collaboration between elected leaders and the communities they represent. He observed that some MPs tend to distance themselves from the electorate after elections, particularly during the identification and execution of development projects.
He emphasized that MPs should not regard themselves as bosses, but as representatives entrusted with advancing the aspirations and priorities of the people who elected them.
Meanwhile, Dr. Ng’andu has reaffirmed his commitment to serving the people of Kantanshi Constituency, pledging to work tirelessly to improve their welfare once elected into office in the forthcoming general elections.
