Buntungwa Ward Aspirant Pledges Support for Load-Shedding Affected Businesses

Buntungwa Ward aspirant in Mufulira District, Edward Zulu, has pledged financial support to local entrepreneurs whose businesses have been severely affected by prolonged load-shedding.
Mr. Zulu said many small businesses, particularly those that rely entirely on electricity, are on the verge of collapse due to persistent power outages, which have depleted their working capital.
He noted that enterprises such as barbershops, salons and welding workshops are among the most affected, as they continue to face serious operational challenges caused by limited liquidity.
Mr. Zulu stated that the revival of local businesses is a key priority in his agenda, adding that he has already identified resource streams to provide targeted support to affected Small and Medium Enterprises.
